From Survival to Stability: Nervous System Regulation Therapeutic Intensive

  • Sweetbay Wellbeing Studio 18205 Flower Hill Way Gaithersburg, MD, 20879 United States (map)

Investment: $70 | Participation is capped at six (6) participants per session.

This Intensive is an experiential group focused on understanding the nervous system and cultivating habits that support emotional wellbeing, physical health, and resilience.

When stress becomes chronic, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck in survival mode. This Intensive combines education, reflection, and practical skill-building to help participants understand how the nervous system responds to stress and learn techniques that promote calm, grounding, and resilience. Participants will leave with a personalized toolkit for supporting their wellbeing both inside and outside of group.

What to Expect:

  • Understand why we react the way we do

  • Identify physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral signs of stress

  • Understand the role of breath in nervous system regulation and explore how movement supports regulation

  • Identify healthy boundaries that reduce chronic stress

  • Develop awareness of personal triggers and start an individualized nervous system care plan (to be completed at home)

This experience is a perfect supplement to your ongoing therapy journey and also helpful for those who simply want to live with greater emotional resilience. We’ll open with group expectations to support psychological safety. Verbal sharing about your writing or how it felt is totally optional.
